What a weekend we had for our Fundraiser. It was a fantastic success and it was due to you the members and your support. On behalf of myself and the Committee of Management. Thank you. The support you showed for our Club was fantastic. Our target was 100 teams and 107 teams played.
The generous sponsorship of Conal Kelly of Nora May’s Bar and Bistro, was greatly appreciated as was his and his wife Mary’s attendance at the Prize giving on Monday evening. Cathriona and her staff kept us fed at the 9th with delicious burgers and breakfast rolls which were served by volunteers in the Pot. This added greatly to the event. The Pot was very kindly sponsored by Davy O Connor.
Thank you to Mark and Ollie who registered everyone and ensured we all started on time.
The course was in pristine condition and for this we have to thank Eoghan and his staff and team of helpers. Many golfers commented on the fantastic condition of the course including our ex pro
David Keating of Killarney Golf Club who came with a team to support the Fundraiser. He thought the course in its present format was “magnificent.”
Again thank you to all who contributed to making our Fundraiser such a great success and to you the members who turned out in such numbers to support our Club. It was a great team effort.
The EGM will be held in Charleville Park on June 13th at 8.30pm.
