Great win for j.B Carr Team

Welln done to our J.B.Carr team  who had a merited but hard fought victory over Kanturk in the opening round of the Competition. Our opening pair of  veteran Tom Clarson have to be singled our for special mention.Four down after 10 holes they fought back magnificently to snatch victory with a birdie from Tom on the 19th Hole.it is interesting to note that Tom was partnered by Sean O Connor 16 years ago when CHaRLEVILLE  won their third  in a row  JBCarr All Ireland Final when on the 17th Green in Wooden Bridge being One Up Tom left the putt stone dead for his partner to claim victory,
