The Presidents Prize was held in the golf club last weekend. Two hundred and forty members played in this prestigious event over the three days and the weather was favourable to everyone. At the presentation of prizes in the clubhouse on Saturday night President Marie Browne thanked everyone who had supported her in her year in office ….she also said that the course was in magnificent condition thanks to Eoghan Buckley and his staff. Captain Jerry Murray and Lady Captain Imelda O’Hanlon both congratulated Marie on her year and acknowledged all the hard work she has put in as President of the club.

Marie was joined on the night by her husband John and family. Congratulations to winners Ciaran Herlihy and Hilary O’Dwyer.
