A Community Support Classic was held in the Golf Club over the weekend . One hundred and fifty players turned out to play in this Classic which was kindly sponsored by Lucey Motors. The Classic raised €2,100 which was divided equally between St Joseph’s Foundation,Fight for Fionn, Suicide Awareness, Pauline’s Rescue and Charleville Day Care Centre. The winning team were Peadar Cronin(7), Geoff Watson(12), Tadhg Cronin(12) and Jamie Moloney(12) with a great score of 96 points. At the Prizegiving on Sunday evening Lady Captain Joan Dore thanked Lucey Motors , who were represented by Michael Mullins, for their sponsorship. She also thanked everybody who played and especially those who paid and could not play due to bad weather.
